If you haven't notice yet, the world is burning. It's burning due to the actions of rich political people. That's really important. People tend to talk about stuff like that.

Umm ok? Yeah, politics are being discussed everywhere. That's because politics are important. People trying to bury their heads in the sand and pretend they're not are a big part of why things are going to hell.
If you don't like political posts, don't read them.
If only it were that simple. These nerds pop up all over the place. Like when I posted about the World Cup, nothing but politics-nerds in the comments: https://lemmy.ml/post/45406364
There's only 1 (possibly 2, depending on how strictly you define politics) root comments on that post related to politics.
The post isn't beating the allegations. Wanting to avoid political discussions is inherently political.
