Plex HTPC and Plex don't open on Plasma Bigscreen but do on Plasma (main session) (sh.itjust.works)

As per title, the official flatpak applications get stuck on a loading screen when launched from the bigscreen session, but are completely usable within the main session. I have tried disabling fullscreen launch for the HTPC app just in case but that did not seem to fix anything.

Does anyone have any ideas?

I also wouldn't mind if someone knows a URL that would link to the plex 10-foot ui (so not app.plex.tv/desktop, instead a URL that gives the more controller friendly UI).

If it matters, I am on Fedora Kinoite (KDE Atomic Desktop) with Plasma Bigscreen and Tailscale-cli as the only layered packages.

I don't have a fix...

But I used kde for an htpc. The regular de. You can do some cool stuff with it in terms of making it feel like tv os.

In the end after creating a bunch I basically ended up with almost a default install.

I had one of those mini Rii keyboards with a track pad.

.....going to check out big screen updates now!

Seconding the Rii remote. I have one with an air mouse, works just fine.

OP, Plasma Bigscreen hasn't seen an update in a while (so much so it was dropped from Debian 13 for being not compatible with Plasma 6/Qt6 iirc). There are people working on it though so hopefully it'll see a release soon.
