RULES
- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including all information that can initiate conversations when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

I've been in a similar situation just recently. It happened last year around the same time, too. Sometimes we get into the mindset that productivity is a necessary sacrifice, but it's not. You can only flog yourself so much until you drop.
Honestly, doing nothing is underrated, and it helps put things in perspective. "Vegging out" might look like laziness, but it's really saying yes to yourself. Some people burn out sooner or later than others. It doesn't mean they're super productive, or not cut out for whatever it is.
Keep doing what you can to put yourself first. You eventually come back refreshed to maintain a pace more suited to you, and those who need you will be glad to have you back.
Also, therapy and meds helped me. No one should do without the former at least once in their lives, and it's okay to admit you can't function well without the latter.
You don't have to "tough it out" for anyone but yourself.
