Mostly because public schooling packed mud & bullshit into every available crevice in your budding brain meat. 🤌🏼 Good on ya for shaking off the sheeple plaster.

Ok Foucault… The book goes pretty heavily into how it's a culture wide mythology that often carries reasonable assumptions until the archeological and anthropological evidence are looked at. Hell the assumptions predate the public school system. And the author was an academic in the public system
