Best cleaner for removing resin from electronics
(lemmy.world)
In the spirit of making Trees a welcoming and uplifting place for everyone, please follow our Commandments.
For electronics I would only ever use isopropanol or distilled water. Just make sure you let it ventilate really well for up to a week or so when you finish. And don't try and clean inside the PSU, just replace it if it's really bad.
In this instance, I think I'd just skip trying distilled water. I don't think would help much to remove the resin.
Just for clarity, try and get the highest percent iso you can. 90% or higher is really nice.
