AI, in this case, refers to LLMs, GPT technology, and anything listed as "AI" meant to increase market valuations.

Gen AI code has very big flaws that slowly arise as projects that use it start to have a bigger proportion of it.
Generated code can't keep a consistent and premeditated global design while the devs will slowly become less familiar with the code they have to maintain. So rate of bugs increases and devs can't develop without the AI because everything becomes a fucked up mess.
We are seeing it with Windows and other software. Maybe when devs see how messed up their projects become they reconsider.
You see, I would describe that as using LLMs improperly. Like I keep saying, they are a tool for developers to use. They should be used as an assistant, but at no point in time should the developer not understand the code and they should always review all the output. I know we have a major problem with many people using llms improperly, but I will say again they are an absolutely incredible tool when used properly.
