TV comedy writer who was beloved and then went absolutely off the deep end hating trans people. I seem to recall there was a Christmas Day when he averaged a tweet roughly every twenty minutes all day.
I never understood people who let hate control them that much. I can see not liking/hating somebody, I can even see like "I hate Tom and Tom is part of group X so I hate everyone in group X." it's stupid and people who think like that are stupid but I can see the basic logic. Devoting your life to informing everyone else that you hate the group Tom belongs to blows my mind. Imagine if this happened to other groups. Like imagine someone who spends their entire life telling people how much they hate people who wear cargo shorts.
Absolutely. It seems to have destroyed his marriage and cost him basically everything else, so I guess he's painted himself into a bit of a corner.
