The government’s reasoning is the same as putting back door into encryption - another impossible and useless attempt. All these “protections” do is help law enforcement and authorities get dumber and dumber as they lose their gumption to be a better gumshoe. Forget OP/INFOSEC, spy tactics, or any classic investigative work - we’ll just eavesdrop on everything and everyone, it’s easier that way. 🙌👍
