I think my sprocket is getting a bit worn and need to be changed, but I’m looking for a second opinion. It doesn’t have the «shark fins» I’ve been reading about, but the sprocket fins look a bit thin and worn.

Would appreciate someone’s opinion it.

If you can, it’s best to replace both front and rear sprockets and chain together.

Also, give your wheel a good inspection. It looks like cracks have formed near the visible bolts:

I don't think that's a crack, seems like a comstar style wheel, so that's probably just where the two pieces meet.

Good eye! I wouldn’t have noticed. That seems problematic. Does that imply I should get new wheels?

I can’t say from the pictures but definitely give them a thorough inspection. Clean them until spotless then take a good look.
