And if the fascist oligarchs are going to GIVE us the tools we can use to overthrow them, why would we not take advantage of that?

The democratization of knowledge is a GOOD thing. A tool is a tool.

@poprox @amcjen @proxmox And the technology of these tools is nearly at the level where the ordinary person could set up their own self-hosted services environment, complete with locally-administered LLM, and stop using Big Tech services altogether.

That’s what MY dream is.
