Frankly, I am a little too forgiving to my liking. But that's mostly because I am probably 32 years old and I genuinely don't feel like holding grudges is an effort I want to take.
Just get a grudge book, like some dwarves, and write down names and (optionaly) offenses.
Each generation of your family will inherit it.
