As a Canadian, it's terrifying to see the ammount of effort put behind justifying this bill which is clearly a danger to not just our privacy, but our data soviergnty our democracy and our jobs.

Australia already made a mistake with a similar bill and saw a 22% drop in R&D investment. We can't afford the same here for both our businesses and our citizens.

Sadly my MP isn't returning my calls and we're not exactly a population that's known for hitting the streets. I'm hoping any money I throw at Openmedia or Signal is able to work some magic cause at the moment it's between that and big tech as our only chance to stop this.
