I've read in the states they say to save it and take it to the hospital to see if you need the Lyme disease pill. I don't know if it's a thing here.

Deer ticks, in particular. They're the main spreader of lyme disease in the US. You should keep an eye on any known bites for a growing ring rash which is an early symptom, though.
