Open source the drivers and you will get better performance.
Then they won't be able to hide the spyware as easily.
(NB: pure speculation, I have no evidence other than historical Chinese backdoors and spyware).

Customers were blindly buying AMD and Nvidia without a care in the world, why hesitate over "oh wait, my propaganda" because the chips are made across the street lmao?
