Your story reminded me of this comic:
I need to thank you, something about this cartoon you posted (& I deeply analyzed because I hate working, LOVE sleeping, & LOATHE the oppressive corporate & capitalism pressures & IRS overlords that squeeze out every last drop of our life force), snapped me out of a 1 week bipolar depression I was even hospitalized and suddenly I got butterflies in my tummy and started writing a to-do list and I think I can start living again.
Glad something bumping around the dusty corners of my mind helped you out!
