Nah man, homeassistant is so stable and reliable it actually takes a lot of time off my hands lol.
Some quick home assistant timelines.
Automation: 15 minutes
Reworking the dashboard until it's good enough: I don't know, I haven't finished yet.
until you hit a deprecation of something you're actually using :)
Like your whole fucking SBC because they dropped 32-bit support.
So, every other month, if you have a diverse enough setup. Plus changes in zigbee2mqtt on top, if you have that.
I just use the default ZHA integration. Works well enough for my hue devices
I have devices that don't work with zha (or didn't last time I checked) plus I like the possibility of separating the zigbee adapter from the HA host.
but my hodgepodge of dumpster finds i use doesn't make it any easier!
