Agreed. My logic thinking fails to connect the lines between "your bra strap is showing" - - . I get the humor of using different "underwear" than the original instance, but the general humor sparking this trend is beyond me.

But that is just me; if others like it so much to meme it further, this is good, because why not.

I think it's sort of a generalized "fuck you, I dressed like this on purpose and it's not your place to judge whether my clothes are revealing"

I think most people are doing it just to get attention. That's usually what happen on things like TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter...when something become trending, by redoing the thing in the trend the algorithm push your content so you get more attention.
