Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.
Rules…
- Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Anyone under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is free to decide whether a women's community is a good fit for them.
- Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
- Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
- No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.
- New accounts or users with few comments may have their posts removed to prevent spam and bad-faith participation.

Women didn’t force men in Ukraine to stay and be fed into the meat grinder. This is a false equivalence.
Men will be shooting each other in the face while whining “why won’t women stop this??”
Read what @velma@sh.itjust.works again, this time for comprehension.
And while reading for comprehension READ THE FUCKING RULES OF THE FUCKING GROUP YOU'RE FUCKING RESPONDING TO YOU FUCKING WHINY PRICK!
Oohh you must have him tagged as something real fun.
Tagged? We can tag people?
I must needs know more so I may go on a rampage of tagging people. I presume you mean with spray paint? Please?
At least on the Voyager app, maybe instance dependent (?), but you can add a tag to any user that you’d like.
Like I can click your username, tap the buttons on the top right, and ‘Edit Tag’ to say ‘fabulous member of womensstuff’ that will show up next to your name when I see your comments.
Oh, I just use the default skin. :(
I just checked and on my piefed instance I can "edit notes" on their profile in the "more" dropdown. I just use the website and no app so maybe your instance has the same thing under a different name as well
The standard Lemmy interface doesn't seem to provide any such feature. It's OK, I don't need notes to block.
Aw darn, maybe someone more knowledgeable than myself can help :/
It’s a great tool to be able to remember the particularly standout characters around here lol
Oh, I just wait a while to watch them whine and throw toddler tantrums because it amuses me that the anti-snowflakes are whinier than a turboprop. Then I block 'em and never have to worry about seeing their stupidity ever again.
I suspect my account is a stress test for Lemmy's blocking code.
I didn’t say anything to the contrary.
Have you had a chance to read the rules here yet?
Dude. Maybe my posting the rules wasn't clear enough for you.
SHUT THE FUCK UP YOU WHINY PRICK!
Your behavior is why feminism keeps losing. Shut up, for feminism's sake.
Men arent welcome in this community, it’s not on the community to continue to be sweet and appeasing in the face of repeated rule breaking and disrespect.
Why are you not telling the men breaking the rules and imposing themselves on us to shut up? Why should we shut up in our own community that we have built?
The community you've built pushes supporters away. If that's your goal, then good job
If the "supporters" can't even tolerate a single space for women to talk, then they're not so much "supporters" as they are, you know, the status quo.
Fuck off and stop posting against the rules.
Only when men flagrantly break the rules here. It’s easy to see when men do so accidentally and politely back out.
Men don’t get to come in here and drop sexist comments and then cry when we object.
Actual supporters will note that if they accidentally post here they're politely reminded of the rules. Actual supporters then back away and move to where their posting is within the rules.
It's only the manosphere assholes who come charging in all RAH! and then proceed to ignore the rules repeatedly after being told.
Like this manosphere asshole.
What an impossibly difficult rule to enforce. Sexist too, while we're at it. But whatever. You keep doing you, queen
It does seem that some men find it impossibly difficult to follow the rules around here, I agree.
Cmon now. You put a publically advertised forum that gets displayed everywhere and then you gatekeep people based on their perceived gender. There's no way for you to check their gender and let's face it, people are not going to read the rules of every forum they visit, especially for Lemmy. You're being unfair and if you can't see that, then there's no hope for you.
Isn’t everyone expected to follow the rules of the communities they’re posting and commenting in?
In fact most Lemmy instances have a pretty bog standard terms of service/community rules/whatever that specifically say this, yes. That not only must they abide by the rules of their instance but that they must also abide by the rules of the group.
But this concern troll (who is certain that we're "making feminism look bad" by telling men who barge into a women's space uninvited and against the rules to fuck off) barges into a women's space uninvited to concern troll and is shocked ... SHOCKED! ... to find that some of us are fed up to the fucking gills with his kind and tell him to fuck off.
Here, just for maximum irony:
Taken from lemmy.world.
Hahahaha pretty clear to me!
I don't get it either. It is like building your "safe space" on a highway and then complain about the drive-bys.
The technology is inherently not made for the way it is used here so I guess it is more a powermove.
"I was oppressed in my life and so now I do it to the people that oppressed me"
Otherwise this doesn't make sense to me.
If the technology isn’t made to be used to allow communities to set their own rules, why is following the rules of a community an inherent part of participating in the fediverse?
Would you similarly insist on being allowed to participate in a women’s book club? Women’s hour at the local pool?
Oh it's that crazy person again. Hello crazy person, you already proven to me that talking to you is a waste of time. Not interested in an exchange with someone who just makes up stuff and then claims that their fantasies are my intention.
Bye crazy person, hope you get well soon!
OK, let's make this clear.
FUCK. OFF.
You are not welcome here.
FUCK. OFF.
Your opinions are not welcome here.
FUCK. OFF.
There is no silent majority what wants you here.
FUCK. OFF.
Is that clear, Sparky?
I assume your father is proud of the manly-man son he raised.
Oh so you are like the other crazy person who operates purely on assumptions and fantasy.
I guess you have to as you seem to break under the weight of the real world.
Your behaviour is why men think they can do whatever they like regardless of the rules. Shut up for your own sake.
First off, women did not make that decision. It was the decision of men to bar young men from leaving Ukraine, so this is not relevant to the discussion. If you want to complain about anyone for this, complain about the men in power; it doesn't make sense to blame women for this.
Second off, you should really read the rules of the community here. The kind of hateful false equivalence you've shown indicates to me that you are more than likely a man. The very first rule of this community is that it is women only (and nonbinary folks that feel it is appropriate for them to participate in a women's space). So please pack up and go elsewhere, as this is meant to be a safe space for women without the intervention of men.
Please read the rules of the group you're responding to. Here. Let me help you with that:
