[Piefed-wide] Issue with "fake" crossposts in crosspost preview while making posts (piefed.blahaj.zone)

I've been experiencing an issue with PieFed and the cross post preview when posting. I can put literally anything into the url bar, and I always get the preview showing that there are 25 crossposts. This even happens when there are actual posts of a link, it still just displays 25 and doesn't actually show any crossposts.

As you can see, it claims that test1234 has been posted 25 times, with hundreds of comments in each "crosspost".

Could be a problem with your instance, or does this happen on other PieFed instances?

It happens with piefed.social as well.. so it seems to be an issue with boost+piefed.

It does not happen on Lemmy instances.
