Yep, that'd be solarpunk. Liberals love solarpunk because it allows them to imagine a transition to a just future via technology and aesthetics alone. It's all vibes, and it allows them to ignore class analysis.

The oil barrons of the world aren't going to give up their power without some amount of violence.

I don't think that's a good interpretation of solarpunk. Perhaps of some parts of it, but I think in general it's far more socialist/anarchic than what you're saying.
