I donated to the devs of Lemmy for the first time, and discovered what LiberaPay is, but found out they only support American payment methods as of now, which is quite sad. But then, I went to check their GitHub suggestions to see if someone had already asked for it to be implemented, and here is their answer :

"Hello, Wero isn't ready to be used for crowdfunding through a platform like Liberapay. We'll add support for it when doing so becomes possible and worth the effort. As noted in #1356 (comment), Wero is currently in โ€œPrivate previewโ€ at Stripe." GitHub Source

Using Wero would save some fees that would otherwise go to USA. But using intermediary in USA defy that, as some fees from Europe would still go to USA.
