Friendly debate is encouraged.
When posting a song use the format of "Band - Song [FFO: band1, band2]". This just helps keep things uniform. The "FFO" (For Fans Of) section is optional. It is for lesser known bands. (Stole this idea from the Death Metal community).
No racist, sexist, blah blah blah... you get the idea. This is not the place to discuss sensitive matters.
No NSFW content (apart from songs/album covers. If they do include NSFW content, please mark the posts as such).
Post in English only (obviously you can post songs in different languages).

First post in a long ass while. Just hadn't been feeling it before, after so much new music. Hard to truly connect with it when, yea - this style of music is my jam but there was just so much of it. But now reconnecting slowly; felt like posting again.

Instrumental from one of the best classic speed metal acts out there. Doesn't break any new ground but I love it all the same. The melodies and bass lines in the middle of the track are always stuck in my head, as well as the uplifting feeling the whole thing gives me.

Don't get used to seeing my posts all the time like before, but I haven't forgotten this place exists. Gonna also use this opportunity to link my instrumental playlist on Tidal. Rock on my dudes.

@serpineslair@lemmy.world I can fully understand you checking out electronic music. I have been a metalhead all my life since 1986, however used to DJ Detroit electro and other breakbeat stuff like DnB, Ghetto Tech and of course the really heavy German stuff, Anthony Rother, Blotnick Brothers and the likes. Did club and radio shows back in the days.

I liked to use a Carcass bit to separate parts of my electronic sets.

These genres fit well together IMO.
