Fans of Criterion may be familiar with this release. The most pretentious home video distributor actually put out Michael Bay’s Armageddon on DVD. I have a handful of other Criterion releases. They like auteurs, and Bay is an auteur of chaotic trash.

Found for $3. Both disks are present and in good condition. The insert has a small tear. The case is pretty scuffed up though. Very happy with this condition for that cost.

I've also seen it in theater when it first released, my dad wanted to see it but didn't want to go alone, so I joined him. Later it was the first movie I rented on VHS to watch with a girl I fancied at the time. She went on to become my first longtime girlfriend and later my first wife. Good memories.
