This is for strictly mildly interesting material. If it's too interesting, it doesn't belong. If it's not interesting, it doesn't belong.
This is obviously an objective criteria, so the mods are always right. Or maybe mildly right? Ahh.. what do we know?

Where the hell do you get food at that price? 2002?
That's $40 (plus 35% tip if you don't want them to spit in it) now a days.
Also a hidden charge from the owner that's "not a tip"
Apparently it’s a Costco receipt, and their food court prices have stayed the same for a long time
Fun fact: The hot dog soda combo has been $1.50 since 1985. At one point the CEO wanted to raise the price of the hot dog and soda combo and the founder straight up told him "if you raise the effing hot dog, I will kill you. Figure it out."

I just bought a shirt that has the Hotdog and Soda pic from the menu with the quote under it.
Yes, $0.69 soda is still the current price. $1.50 for a foot-long hotdog + soda...
That Hot Dog is not a foot long.
Costco is great like that.
Where the fuck do you pay almost 20$ for a slice of cheese?
Fancy cheese shop.
But that will have cost a similar amount 20 years ago.
Oh, you can get food at this price. You just need to accept that halfway through your meal, you're going to look down and question all your life choices.
Every time I get a Costco hotdog, it makes me feel sick to my stomach about halfway through. And then I can taste it all day long. 🤮
