As others have pointed out, Elliott isn't cast as Achilles. I was curious who he was cast as and it's Sinon, the Greek who tricked the Trojan's into bringing the horse inside the city of Troy. Fun fact, Sinon is in neither the Iliad nor the oddesey. He's described in the Aeneid.

I have, admittedly, not looked too deep into the finer details of this movie... so, I was only aware of the backlash towards him playing Achilles. Did not verify who was playing what.
