It doesn't have to actually do with Taco Bell directly. The root cause is that most American's diets have very little fiber, but most items at Taco Bell have a good amount of fiber, unlike most other fast food places.
Sudden large shifts in fiber intake cause gastrointestinal issues.
What? So somebody ordering a side salad when they go out to dinner must be catastrophic then?
