Where are all the tentacle parts coming from that you use in your builds? From which era or year or whatever the Lego name is for their different themes?
And what is their original use? I find it fascinating to see how you use the pieces in completely new ways, that I would have never thought of.
The tentacle bony parts are appendages (my favorite part!) :) : https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=15064&name=Appendage+Bony+Small+with+Bar+End+%28Leg+%2F+Rib+%2F+Tail%29&category=%5BAnimal%2C+Body+Part%5D#T=S&O=%7B%22iconly%22%3A0%7D
The long flat silver pieces are dinosaur tails. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=40378&name=Dinosaur+Tail+%2F+Neck+Middle+Section+with+Bar+Hole+and+Technic+Pin&category=%5BAnimal%2C+Body+Part%5D#T=S&O=%7B%22iconly%22%3A0%7D
If you peep either of those links it will show what sets the pieces came in, and their release date. This was the first set I got that had those bony parts: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=70317-1#T=S&O=%7B%22iconly%22%3A0%7D
Those aren't dino tails, they are the tail from the Bantha!! Hahahaha!!
Thanks! 2014 is long after my time with Lego, which explains why I don't know those parts.
Understandable. My first set was in 1993. 2005-2014 were my dark ages and later in 2015 I got back into it.. in an unhealthy way.
