MODERATORS
It's great that it has hot swappable batteries but they're still proprietary batteries. Only reason I can still use my old Xbox controller is that it takes rechargeable AAs. If not the batteries would have died long ago and been irreplaceable.
Some of these wireless headsets actually just use off the shelf batteries. For instance, the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro that I currently use uses NP-45 camera batteries. Not as commonplace as AA or AAA batteries, but not proprietary either.
We'll probably need to wait for further confirmation on whether this headset uses off the shelf batteries or proprietary.
