honestly if they just kept it as kitschy and violent as it was in the 80s I'd watch it and I'm sure a lot of people would too. Just literally pick up after the first or second movie and stay the course. keep it as is. yes Robocop 3 was bad but the first one was great, the second one was alright...just keep it the same.

Don't update it, don't CGI the shit out of it. same suit, same practical effects, same soundtrack. I just wish more studios did this. I mean if at all possible just get Frank Miller to write it again and you're off to the races. you can't get anymore kitschy or violent than a Frank Miller script.

He did write Robocop 3 though. I like watching these kinds of (now old) movies, it's interesting to see what people thought the future would look like. Now we know how it's panning out, I'm not sure I want to see a remake that closely follows the originals.
