Seed oils are industrially refined oils that differ greatly in chemical composition to animal fat. Intuitively, you know that they are liquid at room temperature while tallow is solid. They are clearly not the same.

I didn't say they were the same. I said I don't see how whatever regulations they're self-imposing on hot liquid cow can't be equally regulated upon hot liquid seeds.
