Overview:
Electric Vehicles are a key part of our tomorrow and how we get there. If we can get all the fossil fuel vehicles off our roads, out of our seas and out of our skies, we'll have a much better environment. This community is where we discuss the various different vehicles and news stories regarding electric transportation.

If a country is a net oil importer, electrification is a matter of national security. Just look what the US did to Cuba.
Sidenote: They didn't even try to hide how LLM-generated the article is.
Not only for a country and national level security. This works at any level: a province, a city, a household, etc.
they also have a brand spanking new electrified railway line into China to move this shit back (people and freight) and forward They used to have diesel trucks lumbering up unpaved mountain roads in the jungle doing it before.
I have been visited Laos and hopefully they ban most cars and get more electric sit on scooters , they were awesome when I was there two years ago.
Love the place by the way. Laung Prabang particularly, and loved the electric train to Vientiane.
