Stop with the nonsense headlines. Nothing here looks bad for Trump in terms of any impact to him.
Idk, the tates demonstrating that trump was doing favors for them is pretty fucking bad. Especially when trump followed through.
"Fake news, I've never talked to any of them, this is the first time I've heard of them."
And poof it's all better for him. Tomorrow we're in the next news cycle and everyone is talking about the next fucked up thing.
We've been doing this for a fucking decade now. He's been proven in court to be a rapist and felonious election fraudster and hasn't had any political consequences because of it. If you think doing Andrew Tate a favor is going to cause any real problems for him I've got a bridge to sell you in New York.
He did lose to Biden, he paid Jean Carrol and he was impeached a bunch of times. He's also going to go down in history as the worst president the US has ever had. It's not equal to his crimes, but he has suffered some.
The only thing you listed that actually impacts him is the $5 million payment. But that's nothing to him now.
Losing to Biden hurt his pride, losing to carrol hurt his wallet and being thought of as the worst president hurts his pride. Why do you think he's trying to do the arch and the kennedy center? His time is closing down, he's trying to fix his legacy. I think you don't understand that those are the 2 things that matter most to him, his own form of pride and money.
that's the neat part, his legacy can't be fixed.
I think the only consequence he's actually suffered is having to pay his rape victim $5 million years after the verdict. And after all the grifting corruption that's just pocket change.
So yeah, basically no consequences.
Bad to who? It's only bad to the people who already hate trump. To people who don't care about trump this wont move the needle, and to people who like trump this might actually make them like him more
I guess it's noted that you hate that headline, lol.
Bingo.
We live under the control of a fascist regime. Nothing is going to happen to them until they are removed from power.
I'm not saying this shouldn't be reported, but the headline stating it looks bad for them means nothing. It doesn't look bad for them because it won't be bad for them.
Trump's MAGA followers believe in inequality based on identity. This explains how they can claim (reactionary) morality and at the same time cheer when Trump does something beyond the pale and gets away with it. They WANT their leader to be not just above the law, but above morality.
The "logic" is that if they live in a society that values their white identity above anybody else's, the leader makes this inequality very visible and definite. Every time we react shocked and salty they cheer. Being in the news with outrageous stuff every week is literally the strategy of Trump.
That is why two decades of "this looks bad for Trump" are helping Trump. Liberals need to understand this mechanic. Although I'm not sure what to do with this. Basically words are of no more use, and action has to follow. No more discussion of Trump and his cronies.
You can think of this as living under constant psychological abuse and terrorism. This is what our civilization has become. Part of the reason why this works is because we feed into it, and part is because it's profitable for the news and social media. Or for your karma farming.
Yup, exactly, this news isn't gonna hurt Trump in the slightest. It SHOULD, but it won't.
