I'm sure lots of Mongols were perfectly decent people who weren't afforded the right opportunities, too.
I'm a bit confused, so we hate Mongols now? I mean, I'm down I guess. It's just hard to keep up.
If you would do me the kindness of treating my point in the context it was made, that would be very welcome. The point, though perhaps mystifyingly put, was that the motivations and economic forces acting upon the invader are of little import to the objects of their predation.
