I honestly didn't think much of the F-91W at first. I kinda understood why it has the status that it does; it's cheap, dead simple, and surprisingly tough for what it is, but even so, it always felt a little too basic and kinda meh for me (and the backlight looked like garbage, which it is -- especially for an avid EL enthusiast like me)

Then I got one, and about a week later I realized I simply didn't feel the need to take it off. It does everything I need it to.

I completely get it now.

(the strap did in fact break...about 18 years after the watch was purchased. The one in the photo is new.)
