You do?
Because I'm a Scandinavian living in Scandinavia, so I think I'm good lol
I was referring to the Hasbara trope of Israelis pretending to be indigenous when in reality many if not most of them are Ashkenazis from Europe
Got an AC yet?
Nope. I ordered one, but it took a whole month for them to deliver a defective one and now I'm waiting for them to send a replacement
Look into root cellars and ice rooms. We've had the engineering technology to stay cool for thousands of years. A/C just made our parents forget.
Both are kinda hard to get working in a small two bedroom apartment on the third floor 😄
I'm getting a portable AC unit and moving it between the bedroom and the living room.
If one that works ever arrives, that is 😮💨
Yeah, I do not miss rentals.
We fitted that reflective window film all around our place. It's dead cheap and passively cools the place by blocking UV and some other light. The ones that stick from "static cling" should peel off cleanly if you're worried about your landlord complaining? It made our place from uninhabitable to tolerable in an evening.
Also for anyone that's looking, if you're going for a portable air con, always go for one with two hoses! You can modify some to make them way cooler too.
Tell your landlord it's a "property extension improvement," lol.
Yeah, I somehow doubt they'll go for it 😄
Swamp coolers work in areas without high humidity.
