I find it correlates strongly with how many times I have been told that I need to learn to drive recently.

Leave me alone! I don't need to drive and I would rather save the thousands it would cost. I could spend that on ingredients to make cheesecakes.

oh you haven't been assaulted yet? lucky you.

my favorite part of cycling is when other cyclists assault you. that's my favorite.

Not noticed much aggression from anyone on a bike. Had a few car drivers shout bullshit before.

we have lots of bicycle traffic in my city. people behave the same way on bikes as they do on cars.

every single day I bike, someone is going the wrong way, screaming at other people, texting/phoning, cutting corners, running lights/signs, and slamming into peds/cars/cyclists. typically at least 2-3 times per day I commute to work I see these things. it's just as bad as shitty drivers doing the same things. but it's not like anyone is ticketing anyone for being a law-breaking shithead anymore in 2026.

being a on a bike doesn't prevent you from being a ignorant entitled asshole, but it gives a lot of ignorant entitled assholes victim complexes they use to justify their shitty behavior and feel like they can never be at fault. seen a cyclist blow a light, slam into a car, and then proceed to assault/threaten the driver, and bike off. then they are probably on social media screaming about how a car came out of no where and tried to kill them...
