That’s technically possible, but there’s no auto promotion from line of succession slot 2 to 3, and we’d probably just handle it like we did madeleine Albright, where they’re just exempted from the line of succession.
At that point, he’d have to be elected representative for a state, republicans would need a house majority, and a majority of the full body of house members would need to choose him for speaker of the house.
Tbh, it would require less work and be just as correct under the constitution for him to just stay where he is and declare martial law
