I have been wondering what would be the procedure / protocol for this. Whatever government deploys a couple of fighter jets, they intercept the plane, command them to land, and the plane refuses, what then? Who the f*ck has the guts to escalate from there?
Yes but they can try to avoid it linguistically.

That guy is a UN rapporteur so he'll say pro Western stuff. Independent experts however say:
EU states have on and off banned Netanyahu from using their flight space but it's looking like he got full clearance again.
