Why the hell is Reddit publicly traded? Like what is the product even?
Well the product was the users, but since it’s mostly bot traffic now I’m not really sure ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Everybody now! "If the service is free to you, then you are the product!"
they went public 1-2 years ago, spez wanted to be "richer" so he sold off some shares,which made him richer.
The same could be said for newspapers.
