Better and fewer working hours.
Stimulating a massive wave of worker organizing in the United States and beyond.
Organizing and supporting political causes and campaigns that put workers first.

WMF is hiring a law firm known for busting unions in other Big Tech companies.

You can still contribute to Wiki Foundations outside the US. I reached out to the German WMF and received the following reply. Generally I believe preserving Wikipedia is crucial and it seems donating to the German foundation will in no way contribute to the bullshit they are trying in the US.

"As your criticism relates to reports of changes at the Wikimedia Foundation, we at Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. would like to comment on this.

For Wikimedia Deutschland e. V., working with and for the community remains central to our work. Our Technical Requests team continues to work alongside the German-speaking community on the further development of MediaWiki, and close collaboration with volunteers is also an essential part of our work on projects such as Wikidata and Wikibase.

Wikimedia Deutschland e. V. was not involved in the decisions made by the Wikimedia Foundation and is not involved in the Wikimedia Foundation’s internal staffing or organisational processes. We are therefore unable to influence these developments or make a definitive assessment of them.

According to the Wikimedia Foundation, work on technical requests from the community has not been discontinued, but has been reorganised. The Wikimedia Foundation has also stated that the members of the former team remain employed by the Foundation and are receiving support in applying for internal positions. The Foundation denies any link between this reorganisation and the ongoing trade union organising of its staff."
