Wow such a small difference. Glad Abdul won but it is so shameful that that much american voted for a witch saying a foreign country that commit genocide is coming to her dream
True, but there are 2 things at play that kinda make sense why it was such a small margin
Stevens campaign was DUMPING money into ads that was doing all kinds of shady shit from leaning into Islamophobia to pretending Obama endorsed her (She even had a cardboard cutout of Obama at a rally). From what I've heard, there was a Stevens AD on TV every couple ads in Michigan lol
And, supposedly a bunch of Republicunts were voting for Stevens in the primary because MI has an open primary and they didn't have to vote for their candidate because he was running unopposed
Probably why the black panthers came up with "scratch a liberal and you'll find a fascist"
Even anti-zionist Liberals still act shocked and offended every time this is mentioned, despite all Liberal "democracies" supporting 8 decades of fascist colonialism and genocide in the Middle East. The indoctrination and cognitive dissonance is not exclusively a MAGA mental illness.
Why are you turning a win into a loss in your mind? A win is a win is a win. Stop giving yourself reasons to feel bad about it, we win here, we win in November, we win going forward. Celebrate the wins, man.
Victory in electoral politics requires the insane belief that you can convince people that you're right to want to help them. Conviction in that requires us to have hope that that is possible. Meaning we take the Ws when they come and celebrate them accordingly. Not because we're necessarily happy with the results, but because the next win requires us to be.
I said glad that he won. Stop selectively reading comments
I then read the rest of your comment. Surprisingly, not selectively reading your comment is something you should do.
Yes, you put a caveat on your statement. Putting a caveat on a statement doesn't mean you didn't make the statement. I see your caveat and still find it wanting.
