As it should.

The police cornering someone in a McDonalds and "finding" evidence behind a wall of officers with zero transparency is exactly why courts shouldn't admit such evidence.

Maybe if police didn't have a documented history and widely known legacy of false imprisonment, planting evidence, and down right corruption...

Depends how corrupt the system has become. That's why the defense wants as much broadcasting as possible; Sunlight is one hell of a disinfectant.
