Rule 4- No self promotion or upvote-farming of any kind.
That's it.
Rule 5- No baiting or sealioning or promoting an agenda.

believing in stuff makes you stupid about that stuff.
Those Frat boy Bullies and tyrants are all over lemmy and other social media. If you can't see that, you're one of them. There are also real incidents of abuse and harassment on college campuses where good people are getting fired and sued over harmless actions like not using gender neutral pronouns in their emails or some ridiculous crap. Bullying and harassing people into your 'cause' is should never be socially acceptable.
The reason so many folks are so insanely hostile over social justice is they believe in it, and they think violence is justified in it's name. They don't think it's something to stand up for, they think it's something to beat people down with, literally.
Where are you getting these stories about who is getting bullied on college campuses for these reasons?
Are the people getting fired over not using gender neutral pronouns in the room with us
That's such a stupid take.
People who are "hostile" over social justice, are hostile against social injustice. Social injustice is violent, in many many ways.
Your take is basically "I don't like these people, because they are violent against violence to try to fix it". I'm sure that stagnating in violence is better than to try to fix it, huh.
Tell me that you're a privileged brat without telling me that you're a privileged brat.
yeah, please prove my point harder. insulting people is so 'big and strong' of you.
you're a pathetic bully who day-dreams about beating people up. how 'just' of you.
Yeah I want to beat up nazis, and if you feel bad for the nazis then guess which side that puts you in.
The point that you're proving isn't what you think it is.
it's proving that you're a wannabe thug who is looking for excuses to beat on people by irrationally calling them nazis because you feel it gives you permission to hate and beat on them.
Which means... you're a nazi. because that's what nazis do, hate on people who are different than then.
normal folks who aren't nazi wannabes don't sit around fantasizing about beating anyone up.
Ah yes, the typical far-right technique of mirroring attacks against them.
"We're not antisemitic nazis, the leftists are, look at them criticizing Israel".
"I'm colorblind, maybe you're the racist one by focusing so much on color"
And whatnot.
Let me guess, next you're going to start mentioning freedom of speech?
next time someone says something you don't agree with in person, i think you should go punch them in the face, and beat them until they are hospitalized.
and see how far that gets you in your quest for justice. show everyone how just you are by beating the shit out of a person for real, instead of fantasizing about it online. see how they react.
Another typical far-right thing, building a strawman and going crazy on it.
I don't want to punch people I disagree with, I want to punch nazis. The fact that you are getting so concerned by that is strange, because I am not scared of people who hunt nazis. It's actually pretty easy to not be a nazi.
So the question really is, why are you so worried about the wellbeing of nazis?
And because I know what you're going to say, what I consider a nazi is someone that wants to oppress minorities or goes against their existence. If you defend that, then you're part of them.
