osdev is the way, https://wiki.osdev.org/Expanded_Main_Page. I am also following this, so I do not need to build a cross compiler, https://arjunsreedharan.org/post/82710718100/kernels-101-lets-write-a-kernel. I am writing a 64 bit kernel, so I am going to use limine as the bootloader.
