Good article, relationship counciling in the workplace seems interesting.

I'm a little wary about the consensus part though. Some decisions should be made by consensus but when there are few experts in a large group it can be easy for them to be overridden. Depending on the situation, sometimes that's okay, but other times absolutely not.

Consensus in that regard would look like a strong trust in said experts' views, and that people feel those experts are sympathetic if nothing else to the needs of the people they're serving. It doesn't necessarily mean giving creationism a seat at the biology table.

But also, bear in mind this is about avoiding conflict. If your situation does not care about avoiding conflict, then it doesn't really matter.
