I'm just in a bad reading slump currently and trying to get out of it. Usually when this happens I would take a break then read something again but this time I feel like I don't need a break from reading, I simply need a book so striking that it will fully engross me. Looking forward to your suggestions!

Yes. And there is a game system AI to announce earned achievements. It's very gamefied.

Most books in this genre is you get transported into a magical world that's a game.

This story is everyone on earth is killed and the survivors are forced to play this game with their real bodies while still on Earth. It's like morbid comedy.
