I have Arch linux with kde plasma. Now the problem is, i play Ark survival ascended, and its wery demanding game. But for some reason only 80% of my gpu is used. In cs go 2 its also using 80% of my gpu in game but thats fine because it gives me 300+ fps so i dont complain about not using my gpu to the max. But in menus and settings of cs go it ramps up to 99% usage, while in ark it stays to 80% even in menus before game starts. Pc specs: Radeon rx 6800xt Ryzen 9 5950x Ddr4 64GB 3200MHz Ssd 2TB PS Corsair 1000W

I've got the same CPU and I can get a pretty decent boost from pinning games to the first CCD (taskset -c 0-7,16-23 %command% in Steam launch options) to increase clocks (first CCD is higher binned) and ensure cache locality (L3 caches are separated and cross access is higher latency). Otherwise the usual applies, it's not the greatest CPU for gaming and you certainly won't be pushing hundreds of FPS with it in modern games.

Tnx for this comment, but you know what is confusing me. This same game just downloaded from pirate bay, worked great, my gpu was reaching 98-99% utilisacion and i had 110fps on medium settings.

So how can cpu sudenly become botlneck the moment i buy the game and play it legaly.. Now my gpu run around 79% and i have 80fps.
