Enterprise use SCCM because they need to manage systems, full stop.

I say this as someone who's worked in that realm since the 90's doing app packaging, system deployments, and managing systems with SMS.

This is an area specifically where Windows blows Linux away for having standardized system management. If you want something similar in Linux you have to piece it together.
