Some people just don't discipline their kids at all. All 3 of my friends kids were fucking monsters until they got to be like 11 or 12. Anytime they were told no it would turn into an immediate tantrum until they folded and gave the kid at least part of what they wanted. I never saw them without their parents around but I heard their grandparents make comments about how they didn't act like that when they had them because it didn't work. Their mother also would get pissed off if anyone else told them to stop doing something bad or declined to give them something they wanted "because they're autistic" which as far as I know they were never diagnosed and I never saw any other signs of.
