If you're in Iceland then you're actually in luck, the path of totality does cross over the west of the country. Wikipedia has helpful details of timings and places https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_eclipse_of_August_12,_2026#Eclipse_timing

Yep! Flew here from Los Angeles, landed on Monday morning.

Unfortunately, 4:47pm (eta: I was off by an hour, it's 5:47pm, was reading UTC) local time isn't looking good, and it's way too late to try and get a car and drive to the Westfjords
